Welcome to your local resource for abstinence, teen pregnancy and STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections) information.
The good news. Abstinence is working in Franklin County, from 1998 - 2006 our county experienced a 32% decrease in teen pregnancies! And across the country teens are abstaining, 54.5 % of American high school teens are still virgins and 65% of teens who were sexually active have stopped (renewed virginity).
This site is to help equip teens (and parents) to choose abstinence and how to live empowered with that choice. Issues like how to date as an abstinent teen, how to say no and why does abstinence make sense in a sex-charged world.
